A Time & Place In Appalachia Living
This blog features the life adventures & projects of Edwin Bloodworth and his family on the top of a mountain, in the forest. Follow our journey as we strive to stay connected with nature and share our passions for taking the path less traveled. With the combination of modern technology, & traditional methods, and open minds, I hope to inspire you to try some new ideas and follow your way of life dreams.

STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION
THE KITCHEN IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND IS REALLY BEGINNING TO COME TOGETHER. THERE IS STILL ALOT OF WORK TO BE DONE BUT WE ARE SEEING PROGRESS. I AM NEW TO THE REMODELING WORK SO I HAVE A HARD TIME ESTIMATING THE TIME TILL COMPLETION. BEFORE MAY FOR SURE. I AM READY TO START COOKING, I DO KNOW THAT!
WAITING ON THE PLUMBER SO THAT WE MAY FINISH NEW WALL IN COLD SIDE
WITH THE NEW WALL IN THE WALKIN, IT FEELS AND LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE IN A SAUNA.
CHARLIE PUTTING ON MOISTURE PROTECTION. THE WOOD IS BEAUTIFUL.
FINAL COAT ON INSIDE OF WALKIN DOOR. THE HARDWARE FOR THESE DOORS IS BRASS. I CAN'T WAIT TO PUT IT BACK TOGETHER. THE WALKIN WILL LOOK LIKE GIANT PIRATE CHESTS.

REDESIGNING KITCHEN
The kitchen at Camp Sky Ranch has been closed down for quite a few years. In order to reopen there were a lot of necessary updates required. Basically we gutted the kitchen and now we are in the process of putting it back together. Taking it apart was easy.
Coolest walk-in doors I've seen

Hot side
New layout
Freshly sanded walk-in
